Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team at Providence Saint Patrick Hospital. As a key member of our radiology department, you will be responsible for operating imaging equipment, preparing patients for exams, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

Responsibilities
  • Operate imaging equipment, including CT scanners, MRI machines, and X-ray units
  • Prepare patients for exams, including explaining procedures and positioning patients for optimal imaging
  • Maintain a safe and efficient work environment, adhering to hospital policies and procedures
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with advances in imaging technology and techniques
Requirements
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure (NRP) certification
  • Chemotherapy certification
  • Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM) certification
  • National certification for applicable professionals
  • State license verification
  • NURSYS verification for RN, LPN/LVN, and AP
  • IV certification for LVN/LPN/other
  • Management of Assaultive Behavior (MAB) certification
  • NIH Stroke Certification
  • CPI - Crisis Prevention Institute certification
  • Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam for applicable professions
  • Color Blind Testing Online for applicable positions
Work Environment

Providence Saint Patrick Hospital is a short-term acute care/level II trauma facility with 209 total staff beds. We are a teaching hospital with a scrub color policy of all RN/allied: any color. Charting is done using Epic, and parking is free.

We offer a 7 on 7 off schedule with required work every other weekend. If you are a motivated and detail-oriented individual with a passion for radiology, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
