Job Details

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Full-Time Geotechnical Team Lead to join our team in Augusta, Georgia. This role offers the opportunity to work on complex and challenging projects, engaging in business development activities, managing client relationships, and supervising staff.


About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing project scope, schedule, and budget, ensuring timely and within-budget completion. They will also coordinate and conduct laboratory testing and geotechnical analyses, prepare proposals, reports, and design documents, maintain effective communication with clients, and engage in business development activities.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Monitoring: Oversee project scope, schedule, and budget to ensure timely and within-budget completion.
  • Geotechnical Testing: Coordinate and conduct laboratory testing and geotechnical analyses to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
  • Documentation: Prepare proposals, reports, and design documents with high attention to detail.
  • Client Communication: Maintain effective communication with clients, handle invoicing, and manage change orders.
  • Business Development: Engage in business development activities, manage client relationships, and supervise staff to ensure project success and client satisfaction.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering or closely related field.
  • Minimum of 4 years experience in Geotechnical Engineering, or an equivalent combination of education, certification, and related experience.
  • At least 1 year of work experience as a project manager or working under a project manager.
  • A Professional Engineer license in Georgia or the ability to obtain, a plus.
  • Excellent computer skills with the ability to learn commercial software applications.

What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary range of $90,000 - $120,000 per annum, depending on experience, a comprehensive benefits package, including well-being programs, and a flexible working environment that allows you to work effectively and collaboratively to meet your client, team, and personal commitments. You will also have access to a company vehicle with fuel card for project-based work and referral bonuses of up to $5,000.
