Role Overview:
As a Clinical Liaison, you will leverage your clinical expertise within a strategic business framework. Successful candidates will play a vital role in educating the community about our acute rehabilitation services and assessing patients for potential admission.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage professionally with patients and families to gather essential clinical information and medical history.
- Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations to identify candidates for admission into our rehabilitation programs.
- Complete thorough Pre-Admission Screens in alignment with facility policies and payer requirements.
- Provide education to specialized physicians regarding quality standards, program offerings, and regulatory compliance in inpatient rehabilitation.
- Collaborate with the Program Director, Medical Director, and Nurse Manager to develop community relations and educational initiatives.
- Serve as a resource for team members, offering training on acute rehabilitation criteria and case management.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of a 2-year degree; a bachelor's degree in a health-related field, business, or marketing is preferred, with nursing being advantageous.
- Previous experience in marketing or sales is preferred.
- Clinical licensure is mandatory.
- Must possess a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- A proven track record in a healthcare environment, with strong interpersonal skills and experience collaborating with healthcare professionals.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and maintain a professional demeanor.
- Willingness to travel within the community to meet clients.
