Physical Therapy Assistant

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong clinical foundation, excellent communication skills, and a genuine passion for helping patients achieve their rehabilitation goals.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the Physical Therapist in evaluating patients, gathering medical histories, and establishing treatment plans.

  • Administer therapeutic modalities and utilize equipment to facilitate patient rehabilitation.
  • Educate patients on exercise programs and techniques to improve physical function and overall well-being.
  • Provide guidance and support to patients and their families regarding home exercises and recovery strategies.
  • Maintain accurate patient records, documenting treatments and progress effectively.
  • Work collaboratively with the Physical Therapist and healthcare team to coordinate care and ensure seamless treatment plans.
  • Adhere to strict safety protocols and infection control measures to maintain a clean and hygienic therapy environment.
  • Offer emotional support and encouragement to patients as they progress through their physical therapy journey.
Requirements
  • Valid and active Physical Therapy Assistant State license in good standing.
