Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and spiritually passionate individual to serve as our Associate Pastor of Student Ministries. This role will play a central part in recruiting, equipping, and pastoring volunteer Student Directors to reach their full potential.

About the Role

The Associate Pastor of Student Ministries will be responsible for developing and implementing campus-specific and global strategies to ensure the next generation is united with purpose.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop message content for student services.
  • Create a service environment that connects students to the growth track, dream team, worship, prayer, and challenges them to grow as leaders within the church.
  • Build and empower teams of students as leaders.
  • Hold regular training, development, and team-building meetings/events.
  • Strategically promote students within the campus.
  • Actively participate in social media to stay connected to student services.
  • Intentionally build relationships with affiliated churches through the Union Network.
  • Connect with schools within the community to enable students to participate in student services.
  • Relationally serve students' pastoral care needs and create personal growth plans for students.
  • Manage expenses and income from the department in accordance with Union Church's financial systems.
