{"h1": "Auto Damage Claims Adjuster Job Description", "p": "As a Field Claims Adjuster at Progressive Insurance, you will serve as the primary point of contact for customers, directing and making decisions regarding the repair process from start to finish. You will work independently, managing your own inventory, and collaborate with body shops and other stakeholders to negotiate repair pricing and assess liability.

Key Responsibilities:

* Complete vehicle inspections, write estimates, and determine total loss evaluations
* Negotiate repair processes with body shops
* Document information related to claims and make decisions consistent with claims standards and local laws
* Evaluate and handle claim payments and resolution of claims without payments
* Review and determine validity of supplement requests

Requirements:

* A minimum of four years of relevant work experience, or an Associate's degree and three years of experience, or a Bachelor's degree and one year of experience
* Valid driver's license, auto insurance, and compliance with Progressive's driving standards and policies
* Gainshare bonus up to 16% of eligible earnings based on company performance
