Job Title: Histology Technician

As a skilled Histology Technician at IDEXX Laboratories, you will play a crucial role in preparing veterinary tissue samples for diagnosis. This is a part-time position with scheduled shifts Sunday - Thursday 10:00pm - 3:00 am, with the opportunity to work on one or several of the following benches: Dissection, embedding, microtomy, and special staining.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare veterinary tissue samples for diagnosis
  • Work on one or several of the following benches: Dissection, embedding, microtomy, and special staining
Requirements:
  • 1+ year experience working in a histology lab
  • Previous experience with complex tissue dissection is a plus
  • An Associate's, Bachelor's and/or Master's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred
  • ASCP certification preferred
  • Positive attitude and ability to work reliably and precisely
  • Great sense of team spirit and responsibility
  • Able to meet the physical requirements of working in a lab
What We Offer:
  • Hourly wage starts at $27.00 - $35.00/hour based on experience
