Job Overview

Allied Universal, a leading security and facility services company, is seeking a skilled Security Operations Center Badging Officer to join our team. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for processing security and access permissions for personnel and others requiring building access.

This role requires a high level of attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. If you have a strong background in security and access control, we encourage you to apply.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure all persons and vehicles have the proper credentials to enter the site
  • Perform customer service by interacting with internal and external clients and assisting in finding resolutions of issues or concerns
  • Process badges and maintain appropriate logs regarding the issuance, return, and track all associated actions
  • Monitor and regulate the daily activities to ensure compliance with site policies and procedures
  • Retain and maintain all access control documents, as well as conduct audits on access control records
  • Record and report any incidents to the Site Supervisor, Operations Manager, or Site Security Manager
  • Acknowledge and share pass down information with officers on shift
  • Make emergency notifications as necessary pursuant to site Post Orders
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of six (6) months of prior security professional experience, preferably with a focus on access credentialing
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Applications
  • Able to assess and evaluate situations effectively
  • Identify critical issues quickly and accurately
  • Research, investigate, compile information
  • Write informatively, clearly, and accurately
