About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our team at Canekast. As an Industrial Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing industrial equipment, ensuring that our machinery is running at optimal levels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and repair industrial equipment, including electrical systems, mechanical systems, and control circuits.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning and lubricating equipment, to prevent downtime and ensure optimal performance.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions, using technical knowledge and problem-solving skills to resolve issues efficiently.
  • Collaborate with other team members to install new equipment and systems, ensuring that all work is completed safely and efficiently.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices, attending training sessions and workshops to enhance technical knowledge and skills.

Requirements:

  • Substantial practical experience in industrial maintenance, with a strong understanding of electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and troubleshoot complex equipment malfunctions.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively with other team members.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on safety and efficiency.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
