Key Responsibilities:

  • The Maintenance associate will uphold the hotel's maintenance and operational standards in alignment with WL, Brand, and Guest expectations.
  • Assist the Chief Engineer in managing and supervising all facets of the Engineering department within the hotel.
  • Maintain cleanliness in all engineering areas as directed by management; work efficiently to support the smooth operation of the hotel.
  • Complete assigned tasks safely and professionally while maintaining open communication with supervisors to ensure the availability of necessary materials, tools, and supplies.
  • Inspect fixtures, lighting, and signage for proper functionality; maintain an adequate inventory of spare parts and light bulbs.
  • Perform additional duties as required.
Qualifications:

  • The Maintenance associate should possess skills in carpentry, plumbing, and painting, and be adept at using hand and power tools.
  • A foundational understanding of general maintenance is essential, along with a willingness to learn and specialize in specific trades (e.g., electrical, carpentry).
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • A valid driver's license is necessary.
  • The ability to regularly lift, carry, or move up to 10 lbs. and occasionally up to 25 lbs., as well as the capacity to stand and move for extended periods.
  • While extensive training is provided, prior experience is advantageous.
