Qualifications:
  • Minimum of two years of education and/or direct experience with at-risk youth.
  • At least six months of prior experience as an Associate Counselor in a comparable setting.
  • Valid TB test results within the last 12 months or the ability to secure a negative result within 30 days of employment.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Foster a supportive atmosphere to reduce crisis behaviors.
  • Provide guidance and counseling to promote safe conduct.
  • Plan and prepare healthy meals.
  • Organize daily activities and offer structured support.
  • Conduct intake assessments and behavioral evaluations.
  • Develop and execute personalized treatment plans.
  • Act as a crisis liaison and share community resource information.

  3. Possess a valid Washington State Driver's License with a minimum of five years of driving experience and a good driving record for the past three years.
  4. Provide proof of auto insurance with coverage of $100,000 or more.
  5. Demonstrate cultural sensitivity and the ability to address the diverse needs of the community.
  6. Obtain CPR/1st Aid/Bloodborne Pathogen certification within 30 days of employment (required before starting some positions).
  7. Exhibit strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
