Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Endoscopy department at Mount Carmel Grove City. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, collaborating with proceduralists and anesthesia, and contributing to a positive and supportive work environment.

About the Role:

The Registered Nurse will be responsible for participating in various endoscopic procedures, including EGDs, colonoscopies, ERCPs, EUSs, bronchoscopies, and manometry procedures. You will work closely with our proceduralists and anesthesia team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide nursing care and ensure a safe environment for patients.
  • Assess and evaluate patient care, utilizing evidence-based practice.
  • Collaborate with patients and families to develop and implement a plan of care that includes physical, spiritual, and educational components.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and keep patients and families informed.
  • Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and completely.


Requirements:

  • Graduate from a school of nursing.
  • Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Ohio.
  • 2 years of experience for Casual RNs.
  • New graduate nurses with less than 1 year of clinical experience will participate in the Nurse Residency Program.
