As a Public Health Nurse III with the Wilson County Health Department, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our community members. We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate individual to join our team as the Nurse Coordinator for the Family Planning Program.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional clinical services to clients in the Family Planning Clinic, ensuring their safety and well-being.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to colleagues, providing expert guidance on Family Planning matters.
  • Stay up-to-date on best practices in public health nursing, incorporating new knowledge into your practice.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development of innovative solutions to improve patient outcomes.
Requirements:
  • Graduation from a four-year college or university with a B.S. in Nursing.
  • At least three years of experience in public health nursing, preferably in a Family Planning setting.
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in North Carolina.
Salary and Benefits:

The estimated salary range for this position is $64,644 - $109,236 annually, depending on qualifications and experience. The Wilson County Government offers a comprehensive benefits package, including group medical, dental, vision, disability, life, critical illness, hospital indemnity, and accident insurance plans.
