Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Human Resources Generalist to join our team at HUSCO International. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for providing support and guidance to employees and management on various HR-related matters.

Key Responsibilities
  • Recruitment and Employment: Coordinate recruitment activities, attract top talent, and develop retention strategies.
  • Training and Development: Design and deliver training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
  • Employee Relations: Investigate employee complaints, manage performance development processes, and identify high-potential talent.
  • Business Partnership: Support site leadership in staffing and organizational planning, provide feedback on organizational climate, and suggest improvements.
  • Policies and Procedures: Develop and maintain HR policies, procedures, and records, and ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 3-7 years of experience in HR-related field, preferably in a unionized manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of HR functions, labor laws, and employment regulations.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and HR software.
Working Conditions

This position requires sitting for 70% of the workday, standing for 10%, walking for 10%, and occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds. The employee will be required to wear personal protective equipment in designated areas of the plant.
