Position Overview:

The Building Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring the facility's cleanliness and upkeep.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain cleanliness through ongoing monitoring and cleaning of the facility
  • Regularly empty and clean all waste receptacles
  • Conduct quarterly wall cleaning
  • Mop areas inaccessible to scrubber equipment
  • Notify management of any issues with cleaning equipment or shortages of cleaning supplies
  • Assist management with tasks as needed
  • Perform additional projects or duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

  • 0 to 6 months of general facility maintenance experience
  • Ability to effectively follow detailed written or verbal instructions
  • Strong problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Must pass a post-offer background check and drug screening

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification in forklift operation and scrubber use
  • Basic understanding of OSHA regulations in a warehouse setting
