We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Veterinary Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have relevant experience in emergency veterinary care and a strong commitment to delivering exceptional patient and client services. This role requires the ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist veterinarians in emergency and critical care procedures, including examinations, diagnostics, and treatments.
  • Perform routine and emergency technical procedures such as venipuncture, catheter placements, and radiography.
  • Monitor and manage anesthetized patients during surgical procedures.
  • Provide supportive care to hospitalized patients, ensuring their comfort and well-being.
  • Maintain accurate medical records and documentation for all patients.
  • Educate pet owners on treatment plans, post-operative care, and preventive health measures.
  • Collaborate with a team of veterinary professionals to ensure a smooth and efficient workflow.
  • Participate in continuing education and training opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.

Requirements
  • Previous experience as a Veterinary Technician in an emergency or critical care setting is required.
  • Certification as a Veterinary Technician (LVT, RVT, or CVT) is preferred.
  • Strong technical skills, including anesthesia monitoring, emergency procedures, and diagnostic testing.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on client education and support.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
