Position Overview

This position entails overseeing all aspects of Equipment Management and related documentation, including the initiation and acceleration of necessary change controls. The individual will collaborate closely with the Facilities Maintenance Planner to schedule induction activities and work alongside the Facility System Administrator to manage the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMM).

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the Equipment Life Cycle program effectively.
  • Oversee the 'Equipment Out of Service' program in accordance with relevant SOPs.
  • Supervise the 'Equipment Relocation, Repair, Storage, and Decommissioning' program as per applicable SOPs.
  • Induct new assets following the relevant SOPs.
  • Maintain comprehensive files of warranties, records, licenses, inspections, service agreements, and contracts for various equipment in partnership with the Facilities Planner Scheduler.
  • Track equipment throughout its lifecycle in the CMM and provide recommendations for alternatives when necessary.
  • Manage the inventory, storage, and distribution of equipment, systems, and spare parts.
  • Offer insights for the procurement of new equipment.
  • Develop and sustain equipment information and history databases.
  • Execute responsibilities in alignment with the organization's policies, procedures, and applicable laws.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent is required.
  • A valid Driver's License with a clean driving record is necessary.
  • 2-4 years of experience in Preventive Maintenance and Corrective Maintenance operations within a manufacturing environment, preferably in pharmaceuticals or biological sectors.
  • Familiarity with current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) compliance and systems is preferred.
  • Proficiency in scientific and personal computer hardware and software applications, including Microsoft Office, SmartSheet, and a CMM Program (Maximo preferred).
  • Ability to implement practices for cost-effective management of allocated resources.
  • Capability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze issues, identify solutions, and implement procedures for resolution.
  • Effective communication skills, both oral and written, with the ability to respond to inquiries from management, employees, and regulatory agencies.
  • Experience in managing multiple projects, duties, and assignments simultaneously.
  • Ability to interpret and apply federal, state, and local policies, procedures, and regulations.

The compensation range for this role is $64,000 - $72,000, with variations based on experience, skills, education, certifications, and location.
