Job Summary

InsideHigherEd is seeking a highly qualified German Language Instructor to join our team as an Adjunct Professor of German. As a key member of our Modern Languages department, you will be responsible for teaching classes, advising and mentoring students, evaluating student performance, and maintaining student records in accordance with university policies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Teach German language classes to students of varying skill levels
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans to promote student learning and understanding
  • Advise and mentor students on academic and career goals
  • Evaluate student performance and provide constructive feedback
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date student records

Requirements

  • Possesses at least a master's degree in German language or a related field
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • Higher-education teaching experience preferred
