San Francisco, California, United States Trust A-tech Full time

We are seeking a **Program Manager** to spearhead initiatives primarily aimed at synchronizing technical strategies and facilitating execution between our internal engineering divisions and key cloud partners.

Our AI models are available on both our proprietary platforms and API, as well as on major cloud services.

It is essential to ensure effective collaboration between our internal teams and external partner teams for streamlined product development and launch processes.

You will be responsible for aligning various business and technical stakeholders within and outside **Trust A-tech** to drive the implementation of technical strategies.

As one of the founding members of the company's centralized program management team, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact as you contribute to the growth of the program management function within the organization.

While your primary focus will be on our cloud partnerships, there will also be opportunities to lead other initiatives across the broader Engineering organization and the company.

Exceptional interpersonal skills are vital, as our team will play a crucial role in driving numerous company-wide changes and high-priority initiatives that require generating consensus, balancing diverse viewpoints, and competing for attention in our rapidly evolving environment.

This position is ideal for someone with experience in navigating rapidly scaling, high-ambiguity teams and situations.

We are looking for candidates with extensive program management expertise who are comfortable acting as adaptable generalists that can deliver value quickly.

We excel at maintaining a comprehensive view of our work while diving into details when necessary. We understand business objectives, translate them into technical programs and projects, and drive execution.

We are adept at engaging with both non-technical and technical stakeholders at all levels, including executive leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with engineering leaders to define, scope, and sequence major technical initiatives and projects.
  • Lead cross-functional coordination and planning for multiple complex engineering projects, acting as the connector between product, engineering, and external partners.
  • Manage relationships with key stakeholders at our large-scale cloud providers, working with them to develop and execute shared technical strategies.
  • Create detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocation strategies for technical projects and initiatives.
  • Develop and oversee systems, processes, and tools to support technical program management and enhance team productivity.
  • Establish scalable program management frameworks, playbooks, and best practices.
  • Provide clear and transparent reporting on program status, issues, and risks to executives and stakeholders.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, rigor, and continuous improvement within the technical program management team.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Several years of experience in technical program management, successfully delivering complex technical initiatives.
  • Experience in executing technical programs requiring systems and engineering-level knowledge.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills enabling you to influence without authority, build cross-organizational support, cooperation, and action around initiatives and process adoption.
  • A high tolerance for navigating ambiguity and the ability to balance setting strategic priorities with rapid, high-quality execution.
  • Thrives in unstructured environments and possesses a talent for bringing order to chaos.
  • Passionate about **Trust A-tech's** mission and ensuring safe AI development.

Compensation and Benefits

**Trust A-tech's** compensation package consists of three components: salary, equity, and benefits. We are committed to equitable pay and aim for these components collectively to be highly competitive with market standards.

In addition to this position's salary, equity will be a significant part of the total compensation. We strive to offer above-average equity compensation for a company of our size, and will communicate equity amounts upon issuing an offer.

The following benefits are available for our employees:

  • Optional equity donation matching at a 3:1 ratio, up to 50% of your equity grant.
  • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance for you and your dependents.
  • 401(k) plan with 4% matching.
  • 22 weeks of paid parental leave.
  • Unlimited PTO - most staff take between 4-6 weeks each year, sometimes more.
  • Stipends for education, home office improvements, commuting, and wellness.
  • Fertility benefits via Carrot.
  • Daily lunches and snacks in our office.
  • Relocation support for those moving to the Bay Area.
