We are seeking a qualified Trauma Surgeon to become a vital part of our esteemed surgical team. This role requires a commitment to excellence in patient care and collaboration within a multidisciplinary environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in a dynamic surgical group specializing in Trauma, Colorectal, Surgical Critical Care, and Burn care.
- Candidates must possess board eligibility or certification, along with ATLS certification. Both new graduates and seasoned professionals are encouraged to apply. Fellowship training in Surgery or Critical Care is highly preferred, with a strong interest or experience in trauma necessary.
- Manage trauma call responsibilities with a designated frequency of in-house shifts each month.
- Benefit from a robust referral network, supported by OSF Medical Group's Primary and Specialty Care physicians, OSF Cardiologists, and a well-established regional referral system within a comprehensive 13-hospital healthcare network.
- Work at OSF Saint Anthony Medical Center, a 254-bed Regional Medical Center recognized for its quality patient-centered care. This facility is designated as a State of Illinois Level 1 trauma center, equipped with advanced surgical technology, including two daVinci surgical robots and a hybrid operating suite.
