Job Summary

VeeAR Projects is seeking a highly skilled Physical Therapist to join our team. As a Physical Therapist, you will be responsible for evaluating, planning, and implementing physical therapy treatment programs for referred patients to restore function, prevent disability, reduce pain, and return the patient to their maximum function.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluation and Treatment Planning: Select and apply appropriate therapeutic assessment tools, including observation, ROM, functional strength, and palpation, to document findings objectively and appropriately.
  • Treatment Implementation: Develop and implement individualized treatment programs consistent with patient diagnosis, status, and goals, and record treatment plans in flowsheets for assistive personnel.
  • Goal Setting and Progression: Establish realistic and measurable goals in relation to the patient's functional goals, diagnosis, prognosis, learning ability, physical/mental status, and anticipated lifestyle, and update and/or revise goals as needed.
  • Documentation and Communication: Complete evaluations, document patient progress, and communicate with referring practitioners and other healthcare professionals as required.
  • Leadership and Supervision: Provide leadership and supervision to supportive/assistive staff and interns, and adhere to department safety standards.
Requirements
  • Education: Degree in physical therapy from an approved APTA school.
  • Certifications and Licensure: Licensed to practice physical therapy and BLS (American Heart Association) certification.
  • Experience: One year of outpatient experience preferred, but new graduates will be considered.
Preferred Skills and Experience
  • Customer Service and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills to interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
