Job Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified Lecturer in Business Excellence to join our team at InsideHigherEd. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Business Communications and career preparation skills to students in the College of Business and Economics.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach Business Communications (BUSX301) and career preparation skills such as resume, cover letter, and professional employment interviewing skills.
  • Provide classroom instruction, prepare for courses, and continuously improve subject matter competence.
  • Create teaching and learning materials, meet with and advise students on class assignments and academic progress.
  • Review, give feedback, grade written assignments and revisions of those documents, and deliver feedback and evaluations of oral presentations.
  • Advise majors/minors and actively serve on committees at the department, CBE, and/or University levels.

Requirements
  • Master's degree in communications, professional writing, or a closely related field.
