Menu Expertise:
  • Essential for each Bartender to possess thorough menu knowledge to provide confident and capable service.

Core Responsibilities:
  • Adhere to all service protocols.
  • Be well-versed in menu descriptions and present items in an appealing manner.
  • Actively promote sales through upselling and enhancing the dining experience.
  • Arrive punctually and prepared for scheduled shifts.
  • Maintain a positive and friendly demeanor with colleagues, patrons, and management.
  • Ensure cleanliness and organization of the service area.
  • Comply with all sanitation regulations.
  • Assist with any tasks assigned by supervisors.
  • Operate the Point of Sale system efficiently to enhance the guest experience and ensure accurate information processing.
  • Deliver exceptional service at the bar by preparing beverages according to established standards.
  • Knowledgeable about drink names, ingredients, preparation methods, appropriate glassware, and garnishes.
  • Familiar with wines available by the glass and at least two selections from each category on the wine list.
  • Understand signature cocktails and be able to articulate their characteristics.
  • Knowledgeable about specialty liquors, including small-batch bourbons and single malt scotches.
  • Well-informed about food menu descriptions.
  • Ensure stock levels meet established standards.
  • Conduct daily inventory and communicate any unavailable items to the team.
  • Verify that all guests are of legal drinking age.
  • Provide accurate reporting of all income received during shifts.
  • Promote responsible beverage service with the guests' best interests in mind.
  • Maintain a seamless flow of service between bar and server requests.
  • Handle cash and payment transactions with precision.
