Role Summary

The Automotive Lube Technician plays a crucial role in the maintenance and servicing of vehicles by executing express lube tasks efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

Primary Duties Include:

  • Adhering to established express lube protocols.
  • Conducting oil and filter changes, which involves draining and replacing oil and filter, as well as lubricating all necessary joints.
  • Reporting any required repairs to the service advisor promptly.
  • Installing completed lube oil filter (LOF) reminder stickers in vehicles.
  • Checking and replenishing battery, tire air pressure, windshield fluid, transmission fluid, and power steering fluid levels as necessary.
  • Monitoring coolant levels and refilling as needed.
  • Ensuring that vehicles are maintained in a clean condition, free from fluid residue or fingerprints.
  • Verifying fluid levels before releasing vehicles to ensure compliance with standards.
  • Maintaining customer satisfaction index (CSI) at or above company expectations.
  • Keeping a well-organized, clean, and safe workspace.
  • Participating in mandatory training sessions.
  • Accurately recording all hours worked in the company timekeeping system.
  • Adhering to safety rules and regulations.
  • Exemplifying the company's core values in daily tasks.
  • Complying with all company policies and procedures.
  • Observing all relevant safety regulations during the execution of duties.
  • Performing additional tasks as assigned.
Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possession of a valid Texas Driver License is mandatory.
  • Successful completion of a drug screening is required.
  • Passing a background check is necessary.
