SpaceX Launch Operations Technician

Join SpaceX as a Launch Operations Technician and be part of a team that's pushing the boundaries of space exploration. As a key member of our launch operations team, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the safe and successful launch of our Starship spacecraft.
Key Responsibilities:
- Integrate secondary structure, avionics, and stage propulsion components and systems into the vehicle's primary structure
- Perform avionics and mechanical integration, as well as pneumatic and avionics checkout activities
- Collaborate with production engineers to develop and document integration processes
- Ensure all production services are performed on time, safely, and in a professional manner
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalency certificate
- 2+ years of professional propulsion, mechanical, automotive, electrical, or avionics hardware installation experience
Preferred Skills and Experience:
- FAA Airframe and Powerplant license
- Experience in the aerospace industry, aviation, military, or other high-reliability operating environment
- Knowledge of pressure, temperature, and flow measurement devices, mechanical and electrical systems, and propulsion engines
Additional Requirements:
- The ability to lift heavy objects is required in this position (up to 25lbs unassisted)
- The ability to travel for short and extended trips as needed (up to 30% travel)
Compensation and Benefits:
Pay range: $20.00/hour (Launch Operations Technician / Level 1), $25.00/hour (Launch Operations Technician / Level 2), $30.00/hour (Launch Operations Technician / Level 3)
Base salary is just one part of your total rewards package at SpaceX.
