Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Cardiac Stepdown Registered Nurse to join our team. The successful candidate will provide direct patient care, utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cardiac care and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care, including hemodynamic monitoring, medication administration, and wound care.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care transitions.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Current and valid state RN license.
- Current BLS (ARC/AHA) certificate.
- Current ACLS (ARC/AHA) certificate within 30 days of hire.
- Current PALS (ARC/AHA) certificate within 30 days of hire.
- Minimum of one year experience as a staff RN in an acute care hospital setting.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
