About the Position

Salina Regional Health Center is hiring a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to provide exceptional patient care. As a Registered Nurse, you will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care to patients, families, and communities.

Job Summary

Provide professional nursing care for assigned patients, utilizing the nursing process of assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess patients' physical and emotional needs, developing and implementing care plans that promote optimal health outcomes.
  • Administer medications, perform treatments, and provide educational support to patients and families.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to coordinate care and communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare providers.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Education: Associate's or Diploma Degree in Nursing from an accredited school of nursing; Bachelor in Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
  • Experience: Hospital or clinic experience within the past 5 years preferred.
  • Certifications: Current Kansas registered nurse license; Basic Life Support certification from either American Red Cross CPR/AED for the Health Care Provider or Basic Life Support (American Heart Association-Health Care Provider).
