The N Y C District Council Carpenters Welfare Fund seeks a skilled Substance Abuse Therapist to join our team as a Part-time Clinical Services Coordinator. In this role, you will play a vital part in providing comprehensive mental health services to our members, including service membership, spouses, and dependents.

Salary: 30-35 hourly N Y C District Council Carpenters Welfare Fund

This position requires a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Social Worker (LMSW), or Licensed Creative Arts Therapist (LCAT) with at least three years of experience in substance abuse treatment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and excellent communication skills are also essential.

Responsibilities:
As a Substance Abuse Therapist, your key responsibilities will include:
  • Referring members to various treatment options, such as inpatient rehabilitation, intensive outpatient, and outpatient programs
  • Collaborating with treatment facilities and insurance companies to ensure smooth care coordination
  • Maintaining accurate and confidential records of member interactions and treatment plans
  • Providing educational workshops and informational sessions to members, employers, and staff
