Position Overview

The Packaging Operator plays a crucial role in managing the machinery involved in the packaging processes at TSM Corporation.

Key Responsibilities

The following outlines the primary duties and responsibilities expected of the Packaging Operator. These tasks are not exhaustive and may evolve based on organizational needs.

• Operate a forklift and overhead crane to safely maneuver coils and skids within the warehouse.

• Prepare and package materials for dispatch in accordance with customer specifications.

• Construct skids and other shipping containers as required.

• Verify material specifications on inventory tags for outgoing orders.

• Organize materials for shipping based on bills of lading.

• Create inventory tags for incoming materials.

• Input inventory tag information into the computer system.

• Secure necessary signatures on shipping documents.

• Operate machinery on the packaging line efficiently.

• Utilize shrink wrapping equipment effectively.

• Exercise precision and safety when using tools such as saws, banding machines, nail guns, and staple guns.

• Monitor shipping supply levels and notify the Packaging lead of low stock.

• Maintain a clean and organized workspace throughout the day.

• Comply with all safety regulations, quality standards, and company policies set forth by TSM Corporation.
