Job DescriptionAs a Prevention Program Facilitator at Compass Health Network, you will play a crucial role in facilitating assigned programs/seminars to middle school students. This part-time position involves working with students, facilitating 3-6 classroom presentations per day on topics such as Conflict Resolution, Child Abuse Prevention, Diversity & Acceptance, Cyber Bullying, and Healthy Relationships.
- Facilitate programming as assigned by the Director of Prevention.
- Assist students in locating appropriate referrals/resources within the schools and the community.
- Assist school personnel with student disclosures which may lead to problematic or risk-taking behavior.
- Attend trainings on new curriculum as assigned by the Prevention Director.
- Regular attendance is essential.
To be successful in this role, you must have a Bachelor's degree in a mental health-related field or equivalent experience. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are also necessary.
