**Job Title:** Community Prevention Educator

**Estimated Salary:** $19.37/hour

We are seeking a part-time Prevention Specialist to facilitate assigned programs/seminars to middle school students in St. Charles, Lincoln, and Franklin County schools.

The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for educating young people about healthy relationships, conflict resolution, child abuse prevention, diversity & acceptance, and cyberbullying.

As a member of our team, you will work closely with the Director of Prevention to develop and implement effective prevention programs that meet the needs of our community.

Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate programming as assigned by the Director of Prevention.
  • Assist students in locating appropriate referrals/resources within the schools and the community.
  • Assist school personnel with student disclosures which may lead to problematic or risk-taking behavior.
  • Attend trainings on new curriculum as assigned by the Prevention Director.
  • Regular attendance (except as excused).
  • Attend all trainings as required by Compass Health, Accreditors, and Funders.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree required or equivalent experience.
  • Mental Health related field preferred.
