Job Title: Registered Nurse Unit Supervisor

Inova Health System is seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to serve as a Unit Supervisor in our Oncology Clinic. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and leading a team of healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct daily shift huddles to communicate strategic priorities and ensure seamless patient care.
  • Lead safety huddles and conduct environmental and safety rounding to identify and mitigate potential risks.
  • Round on staff regularly to address concerns and enhance staff engagement.
  • Review core measures and key performance indicators to drive quality improvement initiatives.
  • Participate in emergency preparedness drills and training to ensure team readiness.
Requirements:
  • Certification in Basic Life Support through the American Heart Association.
  • Specialty certification within 12 months of hire.
  • Completion of a revised Charge Nurse workshop within 3 months of hire.
  • Licensure as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
  • 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse.
