Job Summary:
The Southeast Emergency Services Clinician provides direct services to individuals in crisis, assessing their needs and developing treatment plans to ensure their safety and optimal resolution of the crisis. This role facilitates engagement or re-engagement in behavioral health services, referring individuals to community-based services that meet their needs and preferences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop treatment plans for individuals in crisis, documenting all assessments and interventions in accordance with program and Bay Cove standards.
- Assist individuals in crises with engagement or re-engagement in needed services, utilizing community-based health, behavioral health, and social services to ameliorate the presenting crisis.
- Provide brief treatment and support until requisite community services can be accessed, minimizing reliance on acute inpatient services.
- Facilitate admission to acute inpatient care as needed.
- Secure financial and insurance-related information to facilitate billing and payment for services rendered.
Requirements:
- Master's level clinician, license preferred.
- Minimally 3 years of experience working in a mental health setting.
- Excellent writing and oral communication skills.
- Current Massachusetts Driver's License and use of a reliable personal vehicle for work-related travel.
Bay Cove Human Services does not offer visa sponsorships at this time and will require candidates to be authorized to work in the United States.
