Job Description

gTANGIBLE Corporation is seeking a highly skilled Program Manager to support the F-35 program in Arlington, VA. The successful candidate will provide program management support in support of the full acquisition lifecycle of the F-35 program, to include development, production, and sustainment.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Air Vehicle Program Management Office (PMO) in providing development, production, modifications, and retrofit, and sustainment of the Air Vehicle.
  • Pilot Flight Equipment (PFE) - assist the AV PMO in managing the requirements, development, testing, qualification, and sustainment of Below-the-Neck F-35 PFE.
  • Helmet Mounted Display System (HMDS) - assist the AV PMO in managing the development, procurement, and sustainment of F-35 HMDS.
  • F-35 Block 4 Modernization - assist the AV PMO in providing airborne systems capable of operating effectively in highly contested battle spaces now and in the foreseeable future.
  • Development Foundation Contract (DFC) - assist the AV PMO in providing manpower and material support to the Integrated Test Force (ITFs) (FTW, NAS Patuxent River, and Edwards AFB) as well as the FTW and Supplier labs to enable F-35 Development, Sustainment, and Production efforts.
  • Developmental Test Viability (DTV) - assist the AV PMO in providing life limiting modification and Flight Test Instrumentation (FTI) sustainment support for the Developmental Test fleet aircraft to enable Block 3 and Block 4 testing.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Management or related discipline and 6 years of experience in program management, technical or business analysis discipline; and included in the 6 years, there must be at least 4 years of professional experience related to analysis and planning; and included in the 4 years, there must be 2 years professional experience in technical efforts supporting major weapon systems and components development. May substitute an Associate's Degree with 10 years of experience.
  • At least 2 years in support of a Major Defense Acquisition Program. Demonstrated experience in the program/project status and schedules.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Service and OSD policy and documentation related to PPBS, life-cycle management of military acquisition programs (as specified in the DoD 5000 series).
  • Must have experience processing program acquisition, funding and contract documentation for military aircraft programs both domestic and international.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of and experience dealing with DoD reporting tools and major reports.
