Job Summary
The Senior HR Business Partner is the senior HR leader for Davis Health System & Davis Medical Center and is a member of their senior leadership team. The person in this role also serves as the senior HR lead for facility-based HR partners at Broaddus Hospital and Webster County Memorial Hospital.
Key Responsibilities
The Senior HR Business Partner partners with executives and other leaders in the organization to develop and implement HR strategies that support business objectives designed to enhance organization effectiveness. The Senior HR Business Partner is the primary employee relations resource for Davis Health System department leaders and is expected to collegially interact with HR employee customers, resolve employee relations issues, and manage HR-related risk and compliance at the local entity-level.
Collaboration and Change Management
In collaboration with the Vandalia North Chief HR Office and Vandalia North System Directors, the Senior HR Business Partner will be responsible for the rollout of changes that impact front line employees. Obtains and provides resources to implement change initiatives. Serves as a role model within the client organization by demonstrating commitment to innovation and continuous improvement in organizational performance.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business or related degree required. Master's degree in related field preferred. A minimum of six (6) years of employee relations experience is required. PHR or SPHR certification is strongly preferred.
Skills and Abilities
The successful candidate will have the ability to build and maintain relationships that foster a culture of trust, reliability, and respect. Works well in a fast-paced environment, flexible, able to change direction quickly and manage projects through ambiguity and constant change. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, able to juggle and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously while delivering on commitments. Outstanding communication skills in written and verbal form, strong presentation skills. Solid sense of accountability, high-quality judgment and sound decision-making. Ability to handle confidential information and escalate issues when appropriate. Performs work under minimal supervision.
Physical Requirements and Environmental Conditions
The position requires light work, frequent lifting and/or carrying of objects weighing up to 10 lbs. with a maximum lifting of 25 lbs.
