About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Manager to join our Outsourced Finance and Accounting team at EisnerAmper. As a Senior Manager, you will be responsible for providing outsourced CFO, Controller, Accounting Senior Manager, and advisory services to a variety of clients, including subsidiaries and joint ventures of Fortune 100 companies, public companies, professionally funded businesses, and Fund management companies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Directs and oversees all aspects of the Finance and Accounting functions for client businesses
  • Establishes and maintains strong relationships with clients and client representatives to identify their needs and seek full range of business solutions
  • Provides clients with advice on the financial implications of business activities
  • Manages processes for financial forecasting, budgets, and consolidation
  • Provides recommendations to strategically enhance financial performance and business opportunities
  • Ensures that effective internal controls are in place and ensures compliance with GAAP and applicable federal, state, and local regulatory laws and rules for financial and tax reporting
  • Works on proposals and assists in developing new business
  • Supervises engagements and special projects undertaken by the firm
  • Oversees all aspects of the client engagement, including workpaper review, financial reporting, and managing external audit processes
  • Supervises, trains, and evaluates advanced-level staff
  • Expands services to existing clients
  • Clients with technical accounting research and workpaper documentation
  • Performs ad-hoc reporting and analysis and proactively provides strategic insights as needed
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in accounting or related field
  • 8 years of recent public and/or private accounting experience
  • Deep knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting
  • CPA license preferred
  • Ability to lead and develop team members
  • Ability to handle multiple clients and deadlines at one time
  • Identify opportunities to help our clients grow and succeed
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Team player with strong communication and analytical skills
  • Technical accounting research
  • Understanding of accounting processes and controls
  • SEC reporting
  • Audit experience
  • Treasury management and cash forecasting
  • Experience working in a paperless environment strongly preferred
  • Familiarity with cloud-based accounting systems such as Intacct, NetSuite, QuickBooks Online, Xero, Bill.com, Concur, and Expensify
