Position Overview
This role is essential for overseeing the Harris Rebar Placing Field Operations at the Branch level. The successful candidate will be responsible for the development and guidance of managers and supervisors, collaborating closely with the Branch Manager and team to fulfill strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities
• Foster a culture of safety within the branch and region, demonstrating leadership by prioritizing the well-being of all personnel involved in office, fabrication, and placement operations.

• Ensure compliance with all safety protocols established by Nucor Rebar Fabrication's Safety Team.

• Communicate safety and production expectations to contractors and customers effectively.

• Plan work in advance to guarantee that necessary labor, tools, and equipment are available.

• Collaborate with the Branch Manager and departmental leaders to identify growth opportunities within the market.

• Work alongside the Branch Manager and team to ensure the effective execution of the Rebar Contractor Strategy.

• Develop strategies for detailing, fabrication, and installation that ensure safety and profitability for the branch.

• Cultivate and maintain strong customer relationships alongside the Branch Manager and team.

• Implement a sales and bidding strategy that promotes the 'Rebar Contractor Model' Supply and Install package.

• Share best practices with colleagues to enhance operational efficiency across branches.

• Analyze safety and production outcomes to identify areas for improvement and facilitate necessary changes.

• Maintain open communication with the Branch Manager regarding safety, bidding, awards, productivity, and departmental profitability.

• Assist in developing a succession plan and training programs for team members with potential for growth.

• Mentor Supervisors and Foremen, motivating the team to achieve Nucor Rebar Fabrication's vision and values.

• Collaborate with the billing department to ensure all billable items are accounted for and invoiced appropriately.

• Clearly communicate company policies and procedures to your department, ensuring adherence.

• Support the Branch Manager in formulating an annual budget aligned with market share goals.

• Establish and nurture relationships within the local construction and business community.

• Maintain a positive relationship with the local Ironworker's International Union Local.

• Perform additional duties as required.

Qualifications
• Minimum of 10 years' experience in Rebar Installation, with at least 5 years in pricing installation.

• At least 5 years in a supervisory capacity, including pricing and managing projects.

• A minimum of 5 years' experience in the Reinforcing Steel industry.

• At least 5 years' experience with Post Tensioning techniques.

Preferred Qualifications
• STSC Certification.

• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.

• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.

Additional Information
• Travel and frequent site visits are required.

• Personal protective equipment such as safety boots, glasses, gloves, hearing protection, hard hats, and armguards must be worn on-site.

• Work hours may extend beyond standard business hours.

Physical Requirements
• Typical office activities.

• Walking, sitting, standing, and bending.

• Utilizing hands for operating tools, computers, and other electronic devices.

• Lifting and handling equipment.

• Vision capabilities including close vision and focus adjustment.
