Lignetics, Inc. is a leading manufacturer of eco-friendly products, including wood pellets for home heating, BBQ pellets for grilling, and wood fiber-based cat litter.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Transportation Foreman to join our team at Marth Transportation in Marathon, WI. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for managing a fleet of trucks, supervising drivers and maintenance staff, and ensuring safe and efficient transportation of goods.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage daily operations of Marth Transportation, including scheduling, route planning, and dispatching.
  • Supervise and train drivers, maintenance staff, and office personnel to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Coordinate with raw material suppliers and finished goods customers to ensure timely delivery of products.
  • Analyze data to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
  • Develop and implement safety protocols to prevent accidents and injuries.
  • Collaborate with the Logistics Director to develop and implement strategic plans for growth and expansion.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business or equivalent experience.
  • 4+ years of experience in fleet management, trucking, or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
