Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team at Tucson Medical Center. As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for examining, testing, diagnosing, and administering remedial treatments for patients with speech, language, and hearing disorders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer diagnostic testing procedures to determine the extent of patient impairment and prognosis for improvement.
  • Analyze testing and other pertinent information to create an individual treatment plan.
  • Prepare electronic documentation, including evaluation results, individualized treatment plans, progress reports, and other required reports.
  • Consult with physicians and other medical health personnel on patient progress and maintain appropriate records.
  • Provide instruction in therapeutic procedures to be continued by the patient or family/caregiver.
  • Conduct or participate in training medical and other personnel in therapy techniques and objectives.
  • Attend patient care staffing, conferences, and other related meetings.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR certification.
  • State Speech Pathologist Licensure issued by the Arizona Department of Health Services.
  • National Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) through the American Speech Language Hearing Association (ASHA).
Preferred Qualifications
  • One (1) year of pediatric experience.
  • Exceptional new graduate with extensive outpatient student fieldwork.
