Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to join our team at Facility Solutions Group, Inc. as a key member of our construction team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and contributing to electrical projects, managing all aspects of electrical tasks, and delegating responsibilities to electrical professionals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Planning and Oversight: Plan, oversee, and direct electrical projects for construction, ensuring timely completion and adherence to budget and quality standards.
  • Submittal Review and Management: Review and create submittals, ensuring compliance with project requirements and industry standards.
  • Communication and Coordination: Disseminate relevant information to various departments related to the project, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Project Monitoring and Control: Monitor project progress, maintain project schedule, and track project costs according to contractual obligations.
  • Financial Management: Develop project budget and track project costs, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with company policies.
  • Document Review and Analysis: Review and study project documents, including estimates, design drawings, specifications, customer proposals, and contracts, to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Additional Responsibilities: Perform other duties assigned by the manager, as required to support the success of the project and the company.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Experience: Proven experience (typically 5+ years) in electrical project management, preferably in the construction industry.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of electrical systems, installations, and industry standards; solid understanding of project management principles, methodologies, and tools; proficiency in project management software and tools; excellent organizational and time management skills; strong leadership and team management abilities; effective communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.
  • Certifications: Professional certifications (e.g., PMP, Certified Electrical Project Manager) are a plus.
