Key Responsibilities
  • Perform all skills required for certifications, including CPR/AED, First Aid, and Oxygen Administration.
  • Communicate effectively with the public and staff to ensure a positive and safe experience.
  • Attend weekly staff in-service trainings to stay up-to-date on safety protocols and procedures.
  • Find substitutes when needed and report substitution(s) to the Aquatics Coordinator/Director.
  • Build strong relationships with members and promote a positive and inclusive environment.
  • Maintain equipment and keep the aquatic area clean and well-maintained.
  • Meet the minimum age requirement of 16 years old.
Requirements
  1. Hold current certifications in Lifeguard Training, CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer, First Aid, and Oxygen Administration.
  2. Demonstrate strong swimming ability.
