Job Summary:

This position is responsible for operating Converting Machines to ensure production standards and quality standards are being met at Allegheny Envelope. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Package completed material to meet quality and production standards
  • Ensure accurate and complete paperwork
  • Adhere to safety standards and participate in safety-related activities
  • Report to work as scheduled or use appropriate call-in procedures for obtaining approval for time off
  • Sweep floors and maintain a clean working environment
  • Perform other related duties as required

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
  • No experience or training is required, on-the-job training will be provided

Performance Measures:

  • Make boxes in a sufficient quantity to handle produced materials
  • Properly box completed material to avoid damage
  • Check materials to ensure quality specifications are being met
  • Tag or identify products
  • Stack skids with product
  • Move skids and shrink wrap product
  • Complete appropriate paperwork
  • Ensure paperwork is accurate and fully completed
  • Adhere to safety standards and participate in safety-related activities
  • Report workplace accidents immediately
  • Report to work as scheduled or use appropriate call-in procedures for obtaining approval for time off
