Job Title: Software Engineering Director

At The PNC Financial Services Group, we are seeking a highly skilled Software Engineering Director to join our team. As a key member of our technology organization, you will play a critical role in driving the development and implementation of innovative software solutions that meet the evolving needs of our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of software engineers and developers to design, develop, and deploy high-quality software applications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and develop technical solutions that meet those needs.
  • Develop and maintain technical roadmaps and strategies to ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Partner with business stakeholders to understand their needs and develop solutions that meet those needs.
  • Ensure the delivery of high-quality software applications that meet customer needs and expectations.
Requirements:
  • 8+ years of experience in software engineering and development.
  • 5+ years of experience in a leadership role, managing teams of software engineers and developers.
  • Strong technical skills in software development, including experience with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong business acumen, with the ability to understand business needs and develop technical solutions that meet those needs.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with cloud computing platforms, such as AWS or Azure.
  • Experience with containerization and orchestration tools, such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
  • Experience with software development tools, such as Git and JIRA.
