We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Vascular Sonographer to join our team at USA Clinics Group. As a Vascular Sonographer, you will be responsible for performing vascular ultrasound examinations and creating Venous Flow Maps to recommend safe and effective treatment plans.
Key Responsibilities- Ultrasound Examinations: Perform high-quality ultrasound examinations of patients' lower extremities and other studies as needed, ensuring accurate and reliable results.
- Treatment Planning: Assist physicians in explaining treatment plans to patients, highlighting the specific needs and benefits of each plan.
- Procedure Room Management: Set up and clean procedure rooms, exam rooms, and ultrasound rooms before and after each patient, maintaining a clean and safe environment.
- Additional Examinations: Perform additional ultrasound examinations as required by treatment plans, ensuring the effectiveness and safety of treatment.
- Scheduling and Coordination: Work with office staff, administrative staff, and physicians to review ultrasound schedules, ensuring availability of ultrasound technicians and maintaining efficient patient flow.
- Quality and Education: Develop and maintain quality of work and skills through continued education and interaction with other ultrasound technologists, adhering to company standards of care.
- Equipment Maintenance: Maintain equipment and manage supply inventory to ensure continued and effective operations.
- Additional Duties: Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
- Certificate of Completion: Hold a Certificate of Completion from an accredited Ultrasound program.
- Certification: Be a Registered Vascular Technologist, Registered Vascular Specialist, or Registered Phlebology Sonographer (RVT / RVS / RpHS) or be able to earn certification within 90 days of hire.
- Work Environment: Ability to work well in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
- Communication and Teamwork: Ability to multitask, prioritize effectively, and work as part of a team.
