Vascular Ultrasound Specialist

As a key member of the USA Clinics Group team, you will perform vascular ultrasound examinations of patients' lower extremities, ensuring efficient workflow and exceptional patient service. Your expertise will be instrumental in creating Venous Flow Maps for treatment plans, collaborating with physicians to explain patient needs, and maintaining a clean and organized environment.

This role offers flexibility to work in various Queens clinic locations, with a requirement to be available between 7am and 8pm and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct ultrasound examinations to create Venous Flow Maps for treatment planning.
• Assist physicians in explaining treatment plans to patients, addressing their specific needs.
• Prepare and clean procedure rooms, exam rooms, and ultrasound rooms before and after each patient.
• Perform additional ultrasound examinations as required by treatment plans, ensuring patient safety and treatment effectiveness.
• Adhere to standard time allotments for each ultrasound exam to maintain efficient patient flow.
• Collaborate with office staff, administrative staff, and physicians to review ultrasound schedules, ensuring availability and timely patient care.
• Develop and maintain quality work and skills, adhering to company standards through continued education and interaction with other ultrasound technologists.
• Manage equipment and supply inventory to ensure continued operations.
• Additional duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Certificate of Completion from an accredited Ultrasound program.
• Registered Vascular Technologist, Registered Vascular Specialist, or Registered Phlebology Sonographer (RVT / RVS / RpHS) certification or ability to earn within 90 days of hire.
• Ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize effectively, and work as part of a team.
