Job Overview: The Whey Production Team Supervisor is responsible for managing and leading various roles within the whey production area, while also occasionally directing production activities and personnel during assigned shifts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead production operations in the absence of the Team Leader.
  • Possess comprehensive knowledge of all positions within the whey production facility.
  • Utilize necessary computer systems for production and cleaning processes.
  • Ensure product samples are tested and take appropriate actions to meet specifications.
  • Notify management of any product deviations from required standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of product loss and inventory.
  • Communicate effectively between operators and management.
  • Facilitate training for new team members and track skill development.
  • Promote safe working practices and assist in the analysis of work-related incidents.
  • Oversee cleaning processes for assigned machinery and ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
  • Conduct shift change meetings and prepare reports for management.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Complete all safety training and adhere to safety protocols.
  • Document all activities in accordance with manufacturing standards and regulations.

Qualifications:

Proficiency in computer applications, including email and record-keeping, is required.

Physical Requirements:
This role involves regular physical activity, including lifting up to 50 pounds and performing tasks that require manual dexterity. Candidates should be able to work in environments with moderate noise levels and mechanical equipment.

Travel Requirements:
Minimal travel may be required within the local area.
