Job Summary

Ponder Environmental Services, Inc. is seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team in Benicia, CA. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for repairing and maintaining our fleet of industrial trucks and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines, transmissions, and other equipment.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues using advanced diagnostic tools.
  • Collaborate with other mechanics to ensure efficient and effective maintenance operations.
  • Document all repairs and maintenance activities in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Stay up-to-date with manufacturer specifications and industry standards for maintenance and repair.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • 8+ years of experience as a diesel mechanic, with a minimum of 4 years in a heavy-duty maintenance environment.
  • Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Valid CA driver's license and a clean DMV record.
