We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Case Manager Assistant to join our Refugee Assistance & Immigration Services (RAIS) team at Catholic Social Services. The successful candidate will provide administrative support to our case management team, assisting with client services, file management, and community outreach.
Key Responsibilities- Assist case managers in conducting intakes and completing needs assessments for enrolled clients.
- Develop and implement detailed plans for clients to achieve employment and self-sufficiency, including budgeting and quality of life assessments.
- Provide linkage to community resources and support clients in accessing public benefits and services.
- Transport clients to appointments and other locations as needed.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client files and documentation.
- Perform administrative tasks, including data entry and record-keeping.
- Assist with interpreter and translation scheduling and coordination.
- Participate in crisis intervention and provide support to clients in emergency situations.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- At least six months of experience working with refugees in a case management or direct services role.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive personal information.
- Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
This is a standard indoor office environment with occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds. Frequent travel within Anchorage is required, with rare travel to the Wasilla office.
