About the Role

Aero Turbine Inc. is seeking a skilled Machinist to join our team in the Engine Shop. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for performing precision set-up and machining operations on multiple materials using various manual machines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Set up and operate manual mills, lathes, and other machines using existing jigs and fixtures to accomplish production machinery functions.
  • Perform precision surface grinding and occasionally develop new tooling, jigs, and/or fixtures.
  • Follow tool control policy and procedures, including maintenance, preservation, and storage of tools.
  • Conduct inspections using precision measuring equipment to ensure accuracy and quality.
  • Correctly interpret sketches, blueprints, and engineering details to establish appropriate datums, set ups, and layout methods.
  • Operate electronic equipment and systems to perform work efficiently.
Requirements
  • Minimum 6-8 years of experience in manual machining or a related field.
  • High School graduate or equivalent.
  • Aviation experience is a plus.
  • Ability to work with a variety of chemicals and solvents.
  • Physical stamina to push/pull items weighing up to or over 100 lbs.
  • Excellent reading and writing skills in English.
  • Ability to obtain an airport badge (passing a 10-year background check).
What We Offer

A competitive hourly rate of $30.00-$55.00 per hour, depending on experience.
