Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Pharmacist to join our team at Weis Markets. As a key member of our pharmacy team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, building profitable business, and aligning performance objectives to drive departmental success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure the accuracy and appropriateness of all prescriptions filled, adhering to state and federal Board of Pharmacy regulations.
  • Develop and implement clinical programs to drive business growth, including immunization and medication therapy management initiatives.
  • Collaborate with the pharmacy manager to track sales, manage inventory, and optimize profitability.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, addressing medical-related issues and offering healthcare counseling.
  • Supervise and train pharmacy technicians and support staff, ensuring seamless operations.
  • Maintain a clean and organized pharmacy environment, adhering to security protocols and regulatory requirements.
  • Interact with physicians, utilizing reference materials to resolve issues and provide accurate information.
  • Assist in the ongoing training and development of department personnel, promoting performance improvement and continuous growth.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree (BS) or Doctoral degree (PHARM.D.) in Pharmacy, with Immunization Certification through an accredited organization.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Proficiency in managing inventory, tracking sales, and optimizing profitability.
  • Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to address medical-related issues and provide healthcare counseling.
